Terms of play
Version 2026-10-30.4:devnet. Every wallet accepts these, by signing a short message, before its first offering.
1. Who can play
You must be 18 or older, and of legal age where you live. You must not be located in, or a resident of, any place where online games of chance played for money are prohibited or restricted (a “restricted jurisdiction”). You are responsible for knowing and following the law where you are. Access from restricted jurisdictions is blocked, and getting around that block (for example with a VPN) breaks these terms. We may block or limit access from any country, and may refuse or close access we believe breaks these terms.
2. What SUMMON is
SUMMON is a game of chance played on the Solana blockchain. You bind Souls for SOL (0.01 SOL each unless a ritual states otherwise). When the gate seals, Reapings remove about half of the living Souls at a time, chosen by verifiable randomness (ORAO VRF), until one remains. The pot is held and paid by the SUMMON program, not by us: the final table shares part of it, and the rest goes to the last Soul's owner or, in a Coven, to its members in proportion to the Souls they bound. The full rules are on the ritual page.
Of every offering, 85% goes to the pot, 10% buys SUMMON on the market and burns it, and 5% goes to the operator, which pays invite rewards from its share. There is no leaving a ritual once the gate seals.
3. Risks
- Most Souls fall. You can lose everything you offer. Results are random, and past results say nothing about future ones.
- The program and this website are software and may contain errors. The program has not had an independent audit. Network outages, wallet failures and oracle delays can happen.
- SUMMON tokens can lose all value. Buying and burning them is part of the game's design; it is not a promise about their price, and nothing here is investment advice.
4. Offerings are final
An offering is a blockchain transaction you sign. It can't be reversed by us. Refunds happen only where the program itself provides them, for example when a ritual can't run. Network fees and refundable account rent are paid by you and shown before you sign.
5. Your wallet
You control your wallet and its keys; we never hold them and can't recover them. Use SOL you can afford to lose.
6. Fair play
Don't exploit errors in the program or the website, interfere with other players or the service, or misrepresent where you are. We may pause new entries at any time; rituals already running keep settling and paying out.
7. Changes
We may change these terms and the rules of future rituals. A ritual keeps the rules it opened with. When these terms change materially, you'll be asked to accept the new version before your next offering.
8. Play responsibly
Decide what you can afford to lose before you play, and stop when you reach it. If gambling is causing you harm, seek help from a support service where you live.
9. No warranty, and limits on liability
SUMMON is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties and are not liable for losses arising from your use of it, including losses from software errors, network failures or token prices.
10. What we record
Your wallet address and the transactions it makes are public on Solana. We also keep your acceptance of these terms (wallet, version, signature, and the country your connection came from), any name you set, and chat messages you post.
